Face to face or virtual consultations
Initial Dietetic Consultation $190 | 50 minutes
Initial meetings focus on gathering information about your nutrition inquiry. We will conduct a detailed assessment of your medical history, current dietary intake and any cultural considerations important to you.
From here we develop a personalised action plan that is realistic and broken down into manageable steps to help you to achieve your goals.
Follow-up Dietetic Consultation $190 | 50 minutes or $100 | 30 minutes
Follow-up appointments are set (if required) to review progress with the goals from your initial meeting and will be 30 or 50 minutes depending on your inquiry.
These sessions are an opportunity to answer any questions you may have, provide additional guidance and adjust the goals of your care as needed.
Location
All face to face appointments are held in Suite 7 of the Marinoto Clinic at Mercy Hospital. You will receive all the details via email once your appointment has been confirmed.
Cancellations
We understand that you may not be able to attend your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. If you cancel within two working days of your scheduled appointment, 50% of the full appointment fee will be charged.
Health insurance
Some insurance companies may cover the cost of an appointment with a NZ Registered Dietitian. Your appointment costs will need to be paid for upfront at the time of your consultation and then reclaimed by you through your health insurance provider. Please check your policy or contact your insurance company to find out if your policy includes a Dietitian and if there are any disclosures.
