Meet Kim
Kia ora, my name is Kim and I have been a New Zealand Registered Dietitian for over 12 years with experience in both the public and private sectors.
I am a New Zealand born Cambodian and have a passion for helping people build confidence with their eating habits to improve their health.
I have extensive nutrition experience across several specialist areas including surgical, kidney disease and gastroenterology and have worked in these areas in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I currently specialise in irritable bowel syndrome and the low FODMAP diet as well as bariatric surgery and work collaboratively with a number of specialists helping their clients improve their quality of life through nutrition intervention. I also work part-time for Health New Zealand, Te-Whatu Ora – Southern and contract to a number of services in the Otago/Southland region.
I am a proud Dunedin local. My wife is an Occupational Therapist and we have three young daughters. In my spare time you will likely see me spending time with family or enjoying the delicious local foods that Dunedin has to offer.
